Novesta
Jan Antonin Bata, the half brother of Thomas Bata (the founder of Bata Shoes Company) and so called king of shoes (for his great achievement regarding Bata Shoes Company rescue from business difficulties after Thomas Bata’s death), created a new footwear company named Novesta in a small town, in Slovakia, in 1939. In 1960, Novesta Company produced footwear for the army during state military services.
